On April 22, Kuehne+Nagel was awarded the Flanders Investment & Trade Foreign Investments Trophy of the year.
In 2020, Kuehne+Nagel opened a logistics center for pharma and medical products at Brucargo, the freight area of Brussels Airport in Machelen (Flanders). What’s more, the Swiss logistics player also started constructing a EUR 75-million European distribution center in Tessenderlo.
Honoring both projects in Flanders, the company was announced as the winner of the 2021 Foreign Investment of the Year Trophy by Flanders’ Minister-President Jan Jambon. This happened in the presence of Gerry Bosmans, director of Contract Logistics at Kuehne+Nagel BeNeLux.
"With its investment projects, Kuehne+Nagel not only confirms Flanders’ traditional strengths but also the innovative clout of the logistics sector in our region."
Jan Jambon
