This project aims to establish a subregional cooperation platform to help seven southern African countries in their efforts to protect the heritage living within their borders. This platform consolidates the results of previous projects funded by Flanders. It is controlled by the national committee for intangible cultural heritage and the organizations responsible for the intangible cultural heritage in these countries (Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe).
