The Belarusian Human Rights Centre 'Public Legal Aid' provides free legal assistance to citizens, informs citizens about their rights and monitors the observance of human rights by the authorities.
With this grant, the centre will update and further distribute the manual drawn up in 2018 to provide citizens with accessible information on their rights and how to defend them.
The resources will also be used to support their operation (reimbursement of staff, purchase of a computer, participation in a digital platform, etc.).
This grant contributed to the implementation of foreign policy aiming to improve compliance with European and international human rights treaties worldwide.
